EROS FEAT. ANNIE HOGAN

For the latest Kuboraum Digital Sound Residency, EROS – the trio composed by Boris Wilsdorf of Einstürzende Neubauten, Karl O’Connor aka Regis and MY DISCO’s Liam Andrews  – reunite with British musician, producer, and composer Annie Hogan on ‘Burnt Crossing’.

Emerging from three distinct histories within industrial, electronic and experimental music, the trio first appeared with the mini-LP A Southern Code in 2022, before releasing their debut album Your Truth Is A Lie in 2024.

Recorded by Wilsdorf at Berlin’s andereBaustelle studio and joined by Annie Hogan on keys, Your Truth Is A Lie unfolds through sinuous guitars, skeletal drums, Andrews’ distinctive bass and O’Connor’s rhythms, with Hogan’s noirish piano appearing throughout. Central to EROS is the idea of the studio as an instrument in itself: sound is shaped spatially and texturally, creating a stark, spectral environment where industrial tension meets a distinctly nocturnal atmosphere.

For their Kuboraum Digital Sound Residency, EROS work again alongside Annie Hogan on “Burnt Crossing”. Conceived as a moonlit addendum to Your Truth Is A Lie, the track moves through eerie pads, bone-rattling percussion and subterranean whispers, carrying the ritualistic, late-night character of EROS into a slower and more elusive territory.
